Illusions of Life
"Year
2006 has been a year of many illusions for me. I have
enjoyed them all with the fascination of a child watching
an illusionist making his assistant vanish. The master
magician can bring up rabbits out of his hat as easily
as he makes them invisible. He may connect ropes he
has cut, fly pigeons out of fire he has lit. I don't
know where it finds its place in Maslow's hierarchy
of self-actualization, but magicians like to amaze us
for sure.
A
rainbow is a heavenly illusion which appears from nowhere,
and disappears quickly afterwards. Rainbow Milonga originates
from such a spectral feat took place where I live. That
was in September but until November I could not find
time to finish it (*).", bh
